Assuming there is a God (I’m also an agnostic) I would venture that it’s also blasphemy to not learn from and to repudiate His word, unless He repeats it to you personally.

You sound like you’d be delighted with sparing all the gifts islam has wrought, the slavery, the suicide bombs, child rape, murder, head chopping, female genital mutilation, chopped off hands for minor infractions, forbidding education of women, etc., etc., etc.

If that requires killing everyone in Raqqa and making all the rubble bounce until it blows away as powder, I’m OK with that. Not eager, but OK.
