“JFK’s voting record in Congress regarding proposed federal government activity:

- supported unconstitutional civil rights,
- supported unconstitutional labor rights,
- supported unconstitutional federal aid to education,
- supported unconstitutional public housing,
- supported foreign aid,
- supported unconstitutional minimum-wage increases,
- supported unconstitutional extensions of unemployment insurance,
- supported unconstitutional Social Security expansion”

If you look a Ronald Reagan’s record as Governor of California and President he also supported civil rights, aid to education, social security etc.

Like Reagan and unlike almost all liberals JFK supported:

Strong Defense
Anti-communist policies

Cutting the marginal income tax rates
Reducing and eliminating government regulations
A well funded space program
Reduced size of government

JFK was far from perfect.

But his policies were conservative for the most part.

Ronald Reagan was a former Democrat going to the Right. JFK was a Leftist in training.

There are opinions and then there are facts; sadly, you have confused the two.

Yes, Papa Kennedy was indeed a PRO-NAZI, which is WHY FDR recalled him ( but also for other reasons as well ! ); however, once the USA entered WW II, Papa Kennedy was completely against Hitler and the Nazis!

JFK was NOT all that "intelligent", nor a "great campaigner". Without his father's money AND the entire MSM pushing him and Jackie, AND THE PROVEN VOTER FRAUD, Mr. Nixon would have won the election in 1960, by a large number.

And as far as the Dems "hating" Joe Sr., you're just plain old nuts!

His advisors may well have been part of the MIC, but JFK himself was not.

In fact he wanted a deescalation and eventual end to the Vietnam war. LBJ did a 180 and shifted it into high gear.

If your going to base the leanings of a President on his advisors only, what does that say about President Trump? Supposedly his closest and most trusted advisors are Jared and Ivanka, two of the most liberal and anti-Constitutional people around; quite happy to use the heavy hand of the government to achieve the leftist agenda.

The President is reportedly in the process of draining the swamp - how many in his inner circle would you characterize as swamp dwellers? How many are pro American patriots bent on returning us to be the land of the free; the home of the brave?

By your logic we must conclude that President Trump is a NWO puppet. Do you believe that? Neither do I.

At any rate, I don’t think the JFK of 1961 would be welcome in either party of 2017. But of course, we’ll never know.

Oh, I dunno.

My Mom knew Margaret Sanger, came to my parent’s wedding.

She was making noise about it back then. Pre-’66.

Lots of Republican women were in favor of it then, less so now.

Kennedy ran as a Catholic, which in retrospect is hilarious.

In 1960, even breathing a faint acceptance of abortion would be fatal to any Catholic candidate.

The push for it was on the Republican side - from upper Northeast Rockefeller Republicans who sided with women’s rights advocates.

Well, by “public” I meant on “Meet the Press,” etc.

The Bushes were always pro-abortion. The only hiatuses were during the Reagan Administration and the two Bush Administrations. Have you ever heard a pro-life peep out of GHWB after 1993 or GWB after 2009? All the Bush women—Barbara, Laura (and that whole generation), Barbara and Jenna, etc., are pro-abortion.

I think it was William Bentley Ball who went around to many Catholic law schools in 1955 or so, telling them there was a movement to legalize abortion. He was laughed out of the offices at every single institution.

Hesburgh and Notre Dame were bought and paid for by the Ford and Rockefeller foundations by the mid-fifties. First, they came out as pro-contraception. They are now, of course, pro-abortion. They signal this fact by giving honorary degrees and other awards to pro-aborts, as have many bishops.

Fr. Richard McBrien was pro-abortion. He lived just off-campus with a concubine for years and years, a fact known to every sentient being on campus. No bishop of Bridgeport (Ct.) or South Bend ever lifted a finger.

Now the Pope is pro-abortion.

My oldest brother graduated from Notre Dame in 1963 and he is sick to see what it has become.
