“Gee after showing relentless pro Hillary bias during the campaign..”

Yes, like CNN giving the debate questions to Hillary?

Yea, no bias there.

I love it. MSM thrashing around in their death throes. Trying, desperately, to prove that they're relevant.

If they had anything newsworthy to say does anyone think that the nation would stop paying attention?

Nope, "Trump = Hitler", and "Something Something Russians", 24/7, isn't worth watching, so America is tuning out. IMO, that's good. Means that everyone will be inoculated from the lies come 2018 and 2020. Meanwhile, "Hey, this Trump guy might have done something worthwhile" *WILL* be newsworthy and *WILL* get ratings by that time. Since the MSM worships at the altar of the almighty dollar, they'll follow that story, instead.

You heard it here, first.

CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta phoned into Sunday afternoon’s CNN Newsroom to offer his latest meltdown/rallying cry for his liberal media cohorts, demanding that they and the rest of the country “stand up to” President Trump following his slams against the media or journalists will both be “hurt” and “silenced.”

Isn't it time for Jim Acosta to take a time out and reflect on his role in the fake news scandal?

Jim and his liberal media cohorts need to return to responsible journalism and back away from propaganda and outright lies and hate. Look in the mirror, Jim!

Little Jimmy Acosta, what a sissy, what a p**sy, go change your tampon and take some Midol.

But the real story here is that this sissy little POS is trying to jump start his mediocre career as a CNN fake news reporter. He’s thinking, the more melodrama and hystrionics, the more likely he is to get a raise.

What a sissy, what a buffoon, what an @ss.

Acosta, ‘Your worst nightmare is happening, a successful Donald Trump presidency for the rest of this term and the next 4 years. While CNN is losing audiences rapidly.

For the month of May, CNN averaged 821,000 viewers per hour throughout the entire day and 1.12 million total viewers during the prime time hours.

Comparably, FOX News averaged 1.42 million viewers per hour throughout the entire day and 2.24 million viewers during prime time, or twice as many viewers during primetime hours as CNN.

By the end of June, due to CNN being caught in a number of ‘fake news’ stories, its numbers dropped significantly.

On Wednesday June 28th CNN’s numbers dropped to only 666,000 TV viewers throughout the day and only 882,000 viewers during primetime.

These pathetic numbers were roughly 80% of May’s monthly average for total day TV viewers and prime time viewers or 20% down.

Gee, he didn’t seem to mind that the fake news media inflamed Hodgkinson to shoot at GOP lawmakers. But gosh, that might be because it wasn’t him in the cross hairs.

I’m not going to go out and hurt a journalist, or an LGBT, or anyone, they are the ones who preach hate and violence.

CNN is all about "standing up" to the President, while maintaining he has to do nothing in return, because of the dignity of his office. They're hoping for a Nixon re-run. In that episode, the early bird (Washington Post and its reporters Woodward and Bernstein) reaped great rewards.

Didn't Fareed Zakaria say the Central Park production of Julius Caesar which was just a vehicle for dramatizing the stabbing of Trump as Caesar was a "work of art?" And the President can't react? He can't re-tweet someone making fun of CNN after they have to retract their breathless coverage of the golden showers dossier, or the 17 unified intelligence agencies that purportedly agreed with it?

He's supposed to ignore what, for a non-official, would be libel, without a sarcastic comment? He can't poke fun at them for being such obvious fakers?

That sounds like an unbalanced, illogical, and childish position. But, most lefties are like that--can dish it out, but can't take it.

How many facts/stories has the media not published because of fear of Trump?

How many “embarrassing” (illegal?) facts/stories about Obama and Hillary did the media not publish when the public would have been interested?

Honest answers to those may tell us if we have a free/honest press or a press that has been silenced.

I can see how Trump’s tweets make the media afraid to publish a single anonymous source saying “Trump committed a crime ....”. If that’s what Acosta is referring to he should find a different profession (e.g. fiction writer). But there does not seem to be any fear to publish anything damaging/embarrassing to Trump as long as they CAN BACK IT UP (and often not). They attack on TV. On radio. On the web. On blogs. On twitter. They don’t seem to be at all shy about what they post either as a “news organization” or “private individual (who happens to work as a journalist)”. They may not like having to defend their news/opinion/comment, but they certainly seem to feel free to give it.

I’d like to hear what “silencing” Acosta is thinking of if it’s anything more than fear of being held to long-standing journalistic standards (which they ignored for 8 years).

Acosta is inciting trouble. His name is too perfect, and so fits his caustic style as he accosts the White House briefers.

After ... the calls to ignore or brush aside the President’s tweets, Acosta forcefully proclaimed that “we have to try the other approach, we have to stand up to this” by “confront[ing] this and say that it's wrong.”

Why do you have to call to ignore the "madman's" tweets? Just ignore them. Oh, you can't. Well, try tweeting yourself - oh, your tweets are brushed aside through ridicule. Funny how that's working out for you.

Note to Jim Acosta:

You and your “news” network could try honestly reporting the truth for a change.

Yes, I know that it would be a hard thing to do.

But once you and your fellow ‘journalists’ try it for a while, you might just find that you like it.
