Lotter said the story line that the White House is in turmoil or that the Trump and Pence teams are divided is the gold standard for fake news. He refuted outsiders claims that there is any sort of division between staff members of the President and Vice President.
advertisement None of the six Republicans cited in a Saturday McClatchy DC article entitled GOPs latest worry: White House turmoil dividing Trump, Pence staffs, were identified as having ever worked for the Trump Administration. The report states that four of six sources used had worked merely for the Trump-Pence campaign or transition. Two named sources have worked for establishment Republicans who favored Jeb Bush for President in 2016. Michael Steel worked for Bushs 2016 campaign directly.
Lotter told Breitbart News that what it comes down to is, This is an entire story based off of speculation from people outside that have no idea what its like being in there. The Trump and Pence teams are working in collaboration and communicating, according to Lotter.
Our staffs are very close and were continuing to get closer every day, he added. He confirmed that the two teams are working together to move the Presidents agenda forward.
One former Trump adviser cited in the McClatchy article, but unnamed, referred to internet chatter when claiming that this would fuel animosity.

A few hours ago, when I read the headline, I muttered “fake news” under my breath, and didn’t even read the article. I felt confident that someone would come forth with the truth. Thanks.
Surprised Drudge even had a link to this....
It is the old story - tell a lie often enough it becomes the truth - to some.
Mcclatchy. Democrat.
Same word - just spelled differently.
Destructs?
Remember when we used to use the word "destroys?"
Jurnalists R gettin' dummerer.
Might just be waving faintly in the direction of “The MSM going to SELF destruct at this rate....”
Sure looks like a circular firing squad going on at CNN, AP, MSNBC and NYSlime, anyway. (JMHO)
(I’m going to get up early so I can scope out the Sunday Network [BLEEP]ers’ lineups. They’ve gotta be goin’ nuts trying to find something to talk about that doesn’t backfire on ‘em before they get the makeup off and hit the nearest bar.)
>> It is just another example of MSM stupidity.
It’s malice.
Me, too. What was Drudge thinking?
Very bad to put out Fake News.
Who was it that said a lie gets halfway around the world before the truth even gets its pants on?
The Trump team is the embodiment of Big Boy Pants and they are always ready just like firemen to jump in them at a moments notice.
I’m waiting for the story that VP Pence will agree to take over for President Trump if congress finds him mentally unfit under the 25th amendment to serve as President.
wreaks of disinformation techniques. Wonder where that comes from? Use a little bit of truth to creae a huge lie then spread it all over via the drivebys. It’s been done by some intel agencies forever.Especially the “mockingbird” types.
Dumb and dumber and dummerer dumberistas doing dumberology-related things!
“Who was it that said a lie gets halfway around the world before the truth even gets its pants on?”
Samuel Clemens.
Probably a neologism (that only libtard journos understand), taken from the words destroy and deconstruct.
Pence is from my home town, right where I sit. I’m not going to go into a long list of adjectives, but you’ll never find a better man. Period.
I've always wondered what the truth was doing with its pants off. Did the lie have pants on, or was it just steaking?
Questions Mr. Twain never answered.
Fake News — but I do believe Michael Steele, failed former RNC chairman, is trying to get some points with his old pals in the media.
