The Associated Press is at it again, pushing more fake news. Sadly, the once-great news wire service is trying to cover up its mistakenearly the exact mistake that cost three editorial staffers at CNN their jobs in a scandal that first exploded a week ago today.
A Breitbart News investigation has led to the correction by the Associated Presswhich originally resistedof the fake news it printed as deeper questions of responsibility, accountability, and journalistic ethics consume the AP heading into Fourth of July weekend.
This time, the Associated Press invented an imaginary meeting between EPA administrator Scott Pruitt and Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris, and then alleged that some kind of impropriety happened as a result..tout-mid-article { margin-bottom: 15px; }
This is exactly the same mistake CNN made a week ago, when it alleged that Anthony Scaramuccithe founder of SkyBridge Capital and an associate and ally of President Donald Trumpheld meetings with Russian investment fund leaders and was under investigation by the Senate Intelligence Committee and Treasury Department as a result.
A Breitbart News investigation uncovered that no such meetings took place, the Senate Intelligence Committee was not investigating the matter, and the Treasury Department had alreadyat the urging of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to now Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin before Trumps inaugurationlooked into it and determined the matter to be entirely without merit.

Don’t think CNN made a “mistake”...it was intentional just like this AP fictional story.
I don’t think much of this “fake news” is anything more than propaganda to produce a first impression that people will believe. Tell a lie enough times and people will believe it.
It is the MSM’s business plan.
Remember how the Democrats wanted to pass a fairness doctrine bill? The reason was because Rush was armed forces radio for 1 hour a day and was doing better than NPR and every other liberal show, combined. The Dems couldn’t handle it, despite Dems owning 93 percent of the media.
Based on what we are seeing, a republican bill to implement a fairness doctrine based on the blatant partiality of the MSM, while a bill that attacks freedom of the press, would send a strong message to the Dems and the MSM that if they don’t toe the line, they will be sanctioned. They would scream, hem and haw about it, but it was them that originally tried to pass it.
Communists will eventually realize that the MSM (with all of its propaganda) is not helping the cause.
The “news media” is being undone (used by) the still in place Obamabots, and the “news media” is getting stuck with the egg on their face - while the Obamabots in the permanent government remain in place.
Journalisms business plan is to excite the public with tales of malfeasance and ineptitude in society (the so-called private sector), and to claim objectivity for themselves.Negativity which is balanced can be simple skepticism, which is unexceptionable. Negativity which is not balanced, and which calls itself objective is nothing more than cynicism.
Skepticism about society is the only justification for government; cynicism about society is a rationale for tyranny.
So-called liberalism is the business plan of journalism.
How many of you remember the Fake News being sent home by these activists/reporters about Vietnam? Their deleterious bar-stool copy and the ubiquitous Walter Cronkite jumped everyone and announced the war was over....leaving some ongoing pretty awful fire fights...with no back up from their military as they were told to “cease fire”...the rest is history...the ‘reporters’ are messing up the message again as fast as they can....why believe anything they print or say? Find the reliable ones and promote them by word of mouth.

How many remember the FAKE news that a lone gunman named LHO fired three shots and killed a President? Walter Cronkite and his illegitimate side kick Dan Rather led that effort too.
