Everyone I know who voted for Obama is happy they did and still think highly of him.

True, and that’s what has happened over the years in many white-majority cities. They elect an unqualified black as mayor, the city goes to hell, then they go back to electing whites (or at least non-blacks). Totally a guilt thing for urban whites. New York City was the best example. They went from their first black mayor, Dinkins, who literally allowed racial riots to go on for 3 days in Crown Heights...to Giuliani, the most conservative big-city mayor in this country’s recent history...and then to Bloomberg who, for all his faults, further cracked down on crime, until New York City became much safer than many states.
So I agree. You just can’t try to throw in an Obama clone and expect the same results. Just in the cities, the whites that voted for Obama thinking that he would bring racial peace (since he did promise that) will not be fooled again. And obviously many others will feel the same. But I do hope the Democrats keep trying with identity politics...and they will, given their leadership (Pelosi, Schumer, Ellison, and the radical running the DNC).
Not in our lifetime...one and done.
