Chinese, some Koreans, but usually not Japanese...
I found that out when a friend and I were on vacation in Victoria BC. We had been strolling around the streets, and all day we had gotten shoved off the sidewalk by large groups of Asians. We were wearing very heavy backpacks, so we adjusted them to swing loose on side, and the next time a group came along trying to shove us, we swung our backpacks hard into them and knocked them off first.
Sure won’t argue with you there!
I just assumed we were talking about civilized people who act pushy and rudely. Somalians are exempt.
Japan has about 40 % of the population of the US, packed into a land mass the size of California. They figured out a loooong time ago that without manners, there would be no civilization. Thank you.
Hi.
“They will push you overboard on a ship to get to the FRUIT at the buffet!”
Or the crab legs.
Hope you are doing well.

LOL
Well done!
Thanks. It wasn’t much, but for two southern girls who were raised to be polite and non-assertive, it was a lot :)
Yep.
Wife and I were walking on that nice path they have around the harbor.
We were the only people on it.
Along comes a Japanese guy and veers towards me.
Nobody else there, and he veers towards me.
I thought that maybe he stumbled or something, so I moved.
A little further down the path and here comes another single Japanese guy.
Same thing happens.
Then I see the third Japanese guy coming.
He gets close and I jump in front of him screaming “Bonzai!”.
I’m 6’3.
He moved.
It’s like a little game they want to play with Americans.
They are kamikrazy.
“Its like a little game they want to play with Americans.”
I believe that that’s true, but I also believe that they just have absolutely no sense of personal space. That’s all fine and well when they’re in Japan, but just as they expect foreigners to do when in Japan, they need to show a little respect for western cultural mores when they come here.
