“We feel sorry for most of those on your side because they are all about weakening the self and the spirit.”

Interesting fallacy to presume that anyone using cannabis medicinally is “weakening self & spirit”.

Myself, I suffered from crushing depression & anxiety for 20+ years before I began using cannabis. I began using cannabis in 2015 & my spirit is no longer chained to the darkness of depression nor am I imprisoned spiritually & emotionally by anxiety. I’m 75 lbs lighter since I began using cannabis. I’m healthier & happier than I’ve ever been in my adult life. I’m active in my parish, playing bass for the 10am Mass group.

Taking any medicine is not a sign of weakness when there is a real reason to take it. Following the steps necessary to legally purchase medicine is not evidence of weakness but requires fortitude of thought & a need for wellness to have to relate to a different doctor for the 27th time how depression & anxiety have impacted your life in hopes of getting relief for the awful symptoms.

You can feel sorry for me till the sky falls, I’ll just remain happy & thankful. Peace :)

Read carefully stickman. I said, “we feel sorry for most on your side...” I didn’t say “we feel sorry for all on your side.” You’ve told me your story before, and I know that pot isn’t your god, instead it’s just a coping mechanism. So I don’t feel sorry for you because you have a healthier attitude than most on your side.
