Yup. Not sure if they'll be opening their doors at one minute past midnight or not. Seems like a lot of folks are thinking they'll be able to toke up just about anywhere they feel like it. Uh, not so much. But toting an ounce or less won't get you busted. Next up? Will those busted within the last XXX number of years have their convictions overturned? You knows it's coming. Any enforcement rules on how to determine someone is DUI? Mandatory blood tests? Roadside exams? Could get interesting. A chance for lawyers to belly up to the cash register.

Hold up.
I thought Nevada had rejected legalization back on the November ballot?

I’ve been to Colorado a few times to visit my son, his wife and my grandson, since pot was legalized there. I visited different dispensaries on each trip out and it’s nice being able to purchase and enjoy weed without worrying about getting busted. It’s about time!

I would say look to Colorado and study their stats. They have had a few years to deal with those issues.

As if the Las Vegas Strip weren’t enough of a place for decent folks to avoid. This ought to seal the deal.

That should release inhibitions to triple the gambling and loss of homes/credit/cars, etc by the mathematically challenged.

Are the casinos going to start comping it?

I’m in Vegas as we speak. Stopped into one of the dispensaries a few days ago to look around. They are heavily advising their customers to stock up before Saturday. All are anticipating huge lines and total sellout. I think this will be huge for Nevada, especially with the tourists.
To: rktman
90% of visitors to Vegas are from California, and everyone knows those folks never brought their own weed with them.
The supposed boon for pot shops in Vegas will be far less than anticipated.
And nothing else in Las Vegas will change one iota.

Expect the casino lobby to fight back once they start losing money.
