Sen. Bernie Sanders didn’t mince words on Tuesday when asked about the FBI’s investigation into his wife — calling it a “pathetic” and politically motivated attack, spurred by President Trump.
“My wife is about the most honest person I know,” the Vermont lawmaker told CNN.
“All that I will tell you now is it’s a sad state of affairs in America when not only we have politicians being destroyed… but when you go after people’s wives. That’s pretty pathetic,” he said.

I think the Dems and/or shadow government are behind the push for this investigation - it would not have received such wide coverage by the drive-bys if Trump were behind it.
I think the purpose of the investigation is to prevent Bernie from ever running for POTUS again - so Hillary, Lie-a-watha, or whoever the Dems dredge up from the Swamp for 2020 has an easier time of winning the Dem nonination and the Oval Office. The Dems will NOT tolerate another Seth Rich type embarrassment.
In one way I agree with Bernie entirely. Jane Sanders ought to have had a number, behind Obama, Brennan, Jarrett, Rice, Lynch, Comey, Hillary, Huma, Weiner,— then Jane Sanders.
Trump has been one politician who has actually empathized with Bernie being victimized by the DNC and Hillary scheming together to take away money and votes from him!
