Kennedy was the guy who replaced Bork. A couple of years in, I remember Bork saying that Kennedy hadn’t cast a single vote that would’ve been different from what he (Bork) would’ve cast. We all felt great.
That didn’t last.
Roberts was good for awhile.
These guys love to “grow” in office. Don’t get too complacent.
Scalia didn’t skew leftward, nor have Thomas or Alito.
