A few of us believe that Russia is the power from the north in Ezekiel 38 which specifically names Iran and Libya under their old names. This war takes place AFTER Israel is restored as a nation (Ezekiel 36 and 37).
On the side, some see a possible link to Isaiah 17 happening around the same time.
