Talk about the VA. This VA has a 22 plus day wait for a primary care and no new patients supposedly. I drove my Wife to the cancer center yesterday and walked across to the VA and went to the canteen exchange to buy a few items plus eyeglass frames nearby. I walked by three primary care areas and did not see one patient, MD, or nurse. Perhaps everyone was in their office? I took four pictures and got out. They show the clinic with clock (11:20 AM), the TV on, and two employees on their PC at the check in area. There was one lady watching TV and no one else. The entire hallway to two more PC clinics was empty except for one man talking to a VA employee. I do not know if he was a vet or employee.
I have read a lot of what you are saying, fortunately here in Salt Lake, our VA is quite different...
My son in law is a retired Vet and he goes, and I have gone with him on several occasions, they don’t have a long wait, maybe 20 minutes, his prescriptions are filled in about the same amount of time, people are not sitting around waiting, and the nurses are out and about all over the place...
We are very fortunate to have a good program, it’s to bad that the rest of the places aren’t as run as well as this one is, it sure would make a lot of things easier for our Veterans...
I am hoping that with what President Trump is doing to the VA program will help ease the mistreatment of the finest Men and Women that give us the freedoms and way of life for giving up their lives for this...
