We were called PINGS at Lackland AFB! The sound of hair growing at supersonic speed. My career field of launching missile included; wait for it: cleaning the toilet on level one of the Launch Control Center. I also learned to run a floor buffer with one hand while waiting for WWIII to break out. Can someone hit that Acknowledge Call button while I mop the floor?
