Yes, CNN (among others) continues to try to brainwash its viewers. The sad truth is that some of the viewers are, in other respects, thoughtful and even intelligent. Trump's personality and impulsiveness tempts them to cling to the hope "If this is true, then...."
CNN will surely huddle (they recently fired 3 people, not including Bonifield) to find a new new Trump attack. They don't know what else to do, because if they start doing responsible reporting their viewers will go away.
