BINGO - I always wondered the same thing when celebrities (years ago) denied being gay/lesbian as if there was SOMETHING WRONG with it and they didn’t want to be associated with the label. THEN years later, they all gathered together to protect and HONOR the “afflicted”....heck - even hold parades for them..
