Sketchy firm behind Trump Dossier is Stalling Investigators
New York Post ^ | June 24, 2017 | Paul Sperry

Posted on 06/25/2017 1:37:37 AM PDT by saywhatagain

Senate investigators are demanding to see records of communications between Fusion GPS and the FBI and the Justice Department, including any contacts with former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, now under congressional investigation for possibly obstructing the Hillary Clinton email probe, and deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe, who is under investigation by the Senate and the Justice inspector general for failing to recuse himself despite financial and political connections to the Clinton campaign through his Democrat activist wife. Senate investigators have singled out McCabe as the FBI official who negotiated with Steele.

I just added the McCabe/Dirty Dossier connection to my "Deep State Coup Trap" meme.

It's critical to understand that Comey requested a private meeting with Trump to discuss the DD. Then the fact of the meeting was leaked to the NYT. By Comey? Who else? "The fact of the meeting" was used to give the DD credibility, and then it was printed in full on a sleazy website. This did not happen by accident or in a vacuum. This was all part of the Deep State Coup Trap.

Thank you for laying it out this way. Lord, protect our President and keep him safe. May the coup plotters reap the consequences of their diabolical ways.

The FBI received a copy of the Democrat-funded dossier in August, during the heat of the campaign, and is said to have contracted in October to pay Steele $50,000 to help corroborate the dirt on Trump — a relationship that “raises substantial questions about the independence” of the bureau in investigating Trump, warned Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

Anyone else see anything disturbing with the idea of a government agency like the FBI, and agency ostensibly charged with investigating crimes; having that agency pay money to an opposition research group during a presidential campaign? Talk about tainted. No wonder the FBI is so clueless about identifying the shooting of Congressman Scalise as being politically motivated. The FBI now apparently reports to the DNC.

I sure hope so. If they succeed in getting him impeached (enough GOPe RINOs would join the Rats to do it) it will trigger a bloody CW.

But that was just the beginning of the scheme. McCabe and McCain pushed the dirty dossier, who took it to Comey. Comey took it to Trump on Jan 6th when he requested a private meeting with the POTUS do discuss the DD “as the kind of thing you will face.”

Clearly this was a pretext. Right after this meeting, the fact of the meeting was leaked to the NYT (presumably by Comey). The fact that the DD was discussed between the FBI director and POTUS was used to make the DD “a legit newsworthy story.” Soon after, the DD was posted in toto online. (Another leak).

None of this is by happenstance. Every step of this process has been calculated. Every step has been another element of the trap.

And no wonder Trump (a non-politician) later thought it was normal to have a private meeting with the FBI director. The first private meeting was on Jan 6 at Comey’s request.

The entire affair stinks on ice.

John McCain is the first name that came to my mind when I read the headline.

“The FBI received a copy of the Democrat-funded dossier in August,”

WaPo just reported that the CIA sent super double secret eyes only information to the White House in... August 2016.
What a coincidence...

McCain reportedly went to England to pick up the dossier to give to Comey.

No doubt stopping by to visit Lynn de Rothschild, one of Hillary’s best friends, who has McCain on the board of her “foundation.”

Exactly. So the super duper extra top secret CIA dossier “REVEALED” by the WaPo was nothing else than the Steele Wikipedia sourced report.

:-))))

LOL!

And there was nothing untoward about it. It was a dinner celebrating the 10th birthday of Russian TV network RT,

which is a state-controlled outlet for Russian propaganda

and Flynn sat at the same table with Putin

If anyone else from a US intelligence agency ended up sitting next to Putin, people would say that was untoward/questionable and maybe that person and their security clearance should be checked out.

as US Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein.

I heard about this the other day. She wasn't a former head of a US intelligence agency, but if people had known about this, they might view her in a different light.

Is there ANYONE in their right mind who would EVER think that Trump paid prostitutes to PEE in the bed that HE was going to SLEEP in??? OMG!! It couldn't be more ludicrous

You would thing now, wouldn't you, that if they're going to create a scandal about Trump from whole cloth, that they would at least create something a little bit more believable? Children create stories to accuse siblings, but even they can do better than this "dossier".

People say all sorts of things. For example, you appear to be a DEM mole operating on FR. But, like Flynn and Putin at that dinner, your activites are not done in secret.

You know how it works, when somebody says "I am not lying," that means they are?

The same rule applies to the self-labeled "independent" agencies and institutions. The press, the courts, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, and so on down the line. They all operate with a political agenda at the forefront, and they all bristle when called out.
