The number of refugees admitted to the United States was cut by nearly half in the first three months of the Trump administration compared with the final three months of the Obama presidency, reflecting the new president's skepticism toward immigration.
Government statistics released Friday showed that more than 25,000 refugees were permitted to enter and reside in the United States at the end of the Obama administration. In the initial months under President Trump, the number fell to 13,000.

Still too many if they are coming from the countries on the “no vetting” list. If any of these are terrorists admitted under Hussein’s rule, he ought to be arrested for aiding and abetting the enemy.

Way too many - the number per month should be a large negative number not a positive one.

It been demonstrated these people do not want to integrate, assimilate or get along.
Needs to be cut to zero (at least from the muzzie countries) - but the liberal courts won't have it and DJT won't fight it, so just cut off all immigration until this islamic hell burns itself out..

It should be zero, especially since the gov’t admits they have no way to properly vet immigrant refugees. Time for our immigration bureaucrats to subject their kids to the Skittles Test. (Since even they admit that 1% of the immigrants are likely terrorists, let’s get a bowl with 10,000 Skittles, fill 100 of them with a fatal dose of poison, and then have their kids line up and take a handful of the Skittles. It’s a perfect analogy for unvetted refugees.)

We are caught in a sort of Cloward-Piven dilema where the capacity of our nation to absorb immigrants has been overwhelmed.
And it didn't happen by accident - it was done intentionally by our own government.
Back in 1965 our politicians made a decision to turn white America more black and brown and passed the 1965 Immigration Act to accomplish it.
Now they have turned our nation into a dumping ground for the most backward trouble-makers, bums, dregs and riff-raff of the planet.
In the last 30 years we have had far too many immigrants come in.
And the majority have been from the most destitute, backward countries.
Just take a look at the graph to see the huge jump in immigration when Bill Clinton took office.
The high influx has outstripped our ability to absorb them and for them to become educated, "Americanized", and self supporting.
It will take at least 50 years for those already here to assimilate - perhaps much longer.
Most of this new wave of immigrants is from countries where the culture is much different than ours.
These new immigrants do not assimilate as quickly as did the Europeans in the great immigration wave of 1890-1900.
That's assuming we get smart and stop the establishment of No-Go colonies by muslims and hispanics.
