3rd Bde (Sep), later TF Garry Owen 71-72. 1/21st ARA (Blue Max) was our gunship support. Slide up next to us on initial insertion & punch off 2.75 flechettes. Little twin puffs of red smoke and the hot LZ was suddenly quiet. Very quiet.
