I don’t have any purpose in posting this other than I found it fascinating - and I thought others might too and maybe someone smarter than me might shed some light on it.
If he’s acting he’s a damn good actor. Other confessions of prisoners that I’ve seen have not had this level of spontaneity - he wasn’t reading a prepared note and his voice was not a flat unemotional monotone - seemed pretty natural.
That’s not to say that the whole thing wasn’t concocted by the Norks, but given their supposed backwardness and lack of sophistication, that seems unlikely.
