Friday on Fox Business Networks Varney & Company, conservative columnist Ann Coulter said the Senate Republicans health care bill was a total disaster because it is Obamacare-lite.
Coulter called for a one-sentence law saying there shall be a free market in health insurance.
[U]nder the Republicans health care bill, guess whos still paying for transgender operations? Guess who still cant go to Memorial Sloan Kettering? Guess who will still be paying 700 dollars a month for heath insurance?
...
This is going to ruin Republicans if this passes because its Obamacare lite, she added. Now Republican will get blamed for it. Let it fall. I would rather have nothing than have Republicans take responsibility for something that is just as bad as Obamacare except all your taxes get cut.

Full repeal. Or else there will be single-payer.
All Mixed Up
Youve got to trust your instinct
And let go of regret
Youve got to bet on yourself now star
Cause thats your best bet
The only thing the democRATs were successful with is convincing the American public that healthcare is a right. I’m not sure how you get that genie back in the bottle.
You get it back incrementally. Baby steps, frog in the water.
The Senate needs to pass this bill, then build on it. We’re not going to get it all at once.
THis is not Trump’s fault.. this is the fault of the spineless paid off republican establishment
Primary them all!!!
Eyes Ann.....EYES ON huh!!!
>Full repeal. Or else there will be single-payer.
Better idea: Keep Obamacare for blue states. Free market care for Red states.
Of course she is right.
What did we expect?
There was no real way to ‘fix’ Obamacare.
Now the Republicans will own it.
But no, there is no way we could have just repealed ... or just let Obamacare collapse on its own ... as many here have suggested.
Trump campaigned on repeal and replace.
Replace with what was always going to be the problem.
The problem with that is this fiasco is bankrolled by the Feds ... which means all of us.
Uniparty is gonna do what uniparty is gonna do.
Uniparty repub leadership did not even want to repeal it in the first place. Lied and said they could not fight at all due to numbers, then got the needed additional control and seats and then trotted out lame excuses.
Nope. Full repeal or else single-payer.
At this point it has all evolved into just two things:
1) Premiums must be lower
2) It has to pass both houses.
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. Drag ideology into it from either side and you lose item 2.
Accomplish those two things AND NOTHING ELSE and you get to hold power next year and do other things. If nothing passes, you lose both houses. If something passes that raises premiums, you lose both houses.
Part of the success is in getting everyone to talk about Healthcare rather than Medicine and insurance. Healthcare is amorphous and feelgood and does not help discuss the problem which is one of government intervention.
Ann Coulter had an interesting suggestion the last time this crap was introduced by the GOP.
A HEALTH CARE PLAN SO SIMPLE, EVEN A REPUBLICAN CAN UNDERSTAND!

STEP 1: Congress doesn’t repeal Obamacare! Instead, Congress passes a law, pursuant to its constitutional power to regulate interstate commerce, that says: “In America, it shall be legal to sell health insurance on the free market. This law supersedes all other laws, taxes, mandates, coverage requirements, regulations or prohibitions, state or federal.

Americans will be free to choose among a variety of health insurance plans offered by willing sellers, competing with one another to provide the best plans at the lowest price. A nationwide market in health insurance will drive down costs and improve access — just like everything else we buy here in America!

Doing nothing is no longer an option.
Full repeal can’t be done with reconciliation even if every Republican agreed to. The test is which is better, this or the current version, until we have 60 senate votes.
Perfect, IMHO.
