Obviously, schools need to teach that when you travel outside the United States, that the Bill of Rights does not come with you.
The problem is that American schools spend so much time teaching how horrible, racist, and repressive America is that they neglect to teach about places like North Korea. And then American snowflakes have to learn the hard way that maybe America wasn't so bad after all.
Some people's purpose in life is to serve as a lesson to others. Hopefully Warbier's sad tale will be an education to other Americans that the world can be un ugly, brutish place and a phone call to the embassy doesn't always solve your problems.
