What ever happened to the fact checkers? Haven’t heard much about them lately. Anyway, I don’t recall Trump ever saying any tapes existed. I believe the statement was to the effect that he hoped they didn’t. Not the same at all! Just another example of MSM picking up something and immediately running with it only to look foolish later.
