Love the A-10. Always have. I wish my eyesight were better when I was a kid. I would have been happy to fly an A-10 or a C-130. Folks say they’re ugly? Were I the bad guys, I’d say “frightening.” Nothing good is coming your way if you see one or the other coming over the ridge at you.

Sure, leasing looks attractive when you compare the lease costs to monthly payments on a new aircraft, but they really get you when you return the aircraft at the end of the lease and you get charged for every ding and scratch on the fuselage.

Not to mention the extra charges for exceeding the yearly mileage allowance.
