He is the architect of the problems in Illinois– he’s been the shadow governor for the last 30+ years.

Correct-the Madigan crime family is about 90% culpable. Us downstaters want nothing to do with the blue counties of DuPage, Cook, Sangamon and whatever county Cairo is in. Aside from those, we are a solid Red Sttate..
