Lieutenant Jeff Neville was stabbed in the neck in a terrorist attack at Bishop International Airport on Wednesday morning, prompting an evacuation of the airport.
MLive reports that the officer was stabbed in the neck and is in critical condition following the attack. A witness told MLive that they saw the suspect detained with a knife nearby and an officer on his knees bleeding from the neck.
Other witnesses reported that the attacker was shouting “Allahu Akbar” as he ambushed Lt. Jeff Neville from behind, indicating that this was a radical Islamic terrorist attack. The FBI is investigating this as a terrorist attack.
