Look like fantasy pieces to me. Way more of that floating around than legit WW2 Germany relics.

I can remember visiting a car museum in Las Vegas back about 1999 and they had Hitler’s personal staff car on display, with signs all around it saying that the display was not at all intended to glorify the Nazi German regime, etc.

What bugs me about this story is it sounds as if the artifacts themselves are considered illegal. Any SOL for something like illegal smuggling, even if they were able to prove it, should have already passed.
So why exactly are they confiscating the collector’s property?
I hope this stuff remains in the possession of the collector, rather than confiscated and maybe shipped off to Israel where they’ll melt it down or something. These are historical artifacts, no matter their content or pedigree, unless they believe that if you give someone Hitler’s magnifying glass, they will turn into a Nazi?

Didn’t Joseph Mengele hide-out in Buenos Aires for a while?

re: "suspected Nazi artifacts"
Well obviously they are "Nazi artifacts"... but the question is whether they originated in Germany during the 3rd Reich and came to Argentina with some actual Nazi leader, or is there some other story?

In the 1940s some South American nations leaned toward the fascist side. That is why so many Nazis fled to S A after the war.
