Exactly. The police officer who tries to apprehend a U.S. senator on a gun charge wouldn't be able to find a job as a mall security guard.

Since the 2A is NOT for personal protection, but rather for protection from governmental tyranny...
It is for both.
Nowhere in the Second Amendment does it *exclude* personal protection.
