Why do people on Freerepublic feel they must defend Senate Republicans, a tribe of wimps and rinos? Just because Colbert is criticizing them doesn’t make them worthy of defending. The GOPe counts on this kind of reflexive support from the base, no matter what they do. That’s why they feel they can ignore us and shaft us - and undermine Trump - with no consequences. Like it or not William3 ....Trump is not running a solo ship here....after all even God uses unbelievers for his purposes.
We can support Republicans that fight for us and stand behind Trump.....but just as Trump will not be perfect in everything he does neither will those with him.
Until the swap is cleared out we have to use what we’ve got to get the job done.....it’s really that simple.
