I got busy since I saw your thread headline so I just went to the source (as always)...

UPDATE...NO SOLDIERS KILLED, 7 WOUNDED.

“At least one Afghan was killed and seven American soldiers were wounded in an “insider attack” at a base in northern Afghanistan on Saturday, a U.S. military official said.

A spokesman for the U.S. military command in Kabul said earlier comments by an Afghan official that Americans had been killed were incorrect.”

I am relieved, but now am pissed as hell. Let me tell you what I think is happening. The embedded taliban have heard the PUBLIC NEWS that there are at least 4000 more troops coming so before they get there they are taking the opportunity to kill our soldiers. Is it still Ramadan?
