I had stopped at the grocer to buy a longneck case of Leinenkugel Canoe Paddler. So I was ready for a beer as I exited and saw that one of the microbreweries had sent a representative to hand out free samples. Wanting to set a proper example of manhood to a couple of milling hipsters, I grabbed the offered beer and pounded it down.

I damned near threw up in front of them.

It tasted like 1/3 Grainbelt, 1/3 orange juice, and 1/3 grease from low grade mass produced sausage links. I had no idea that there was so much competition in America for breakfast beers that someone felt the need to produce a cheap bad one.

I think burro urine would have been an improvement.
