The City of Fresno unveils its the new "In God We Trust" sign inside of council chambers.
Last month the city council voted unanimously to put the motto on the wall inside the council chambers.

Private donors paid for the sign, no public funds were used.
Councilmen Garry Bredefeld who spearheaded the effort to have the motto put on the wall said " I respect that, some people don't want to have the motto in the chambers, felt it was divisive, I don't share that view; I think it's actually a unifying message. It's about faith values and patriotism. That's what our community's about; and that's what this reflects
Six private donors paid for the sign that cost almost two thousand dollars.
