There are rumors that WaPo is under court order surveillance to catch leakers. It would be a hoot seeing Mueller’s staff get perp walked for breaking the law here, which would end this bogus investigation and give us a big belly laugh.
Interesting. If true, I can't wait to read the pleadings relating to the order. I know warrants issue in secret, but WaPo would fight this like hell on press privilege grounds.
I have some real problems with the way press privilege is delineated. Can;t recall exctly what my problems are (were), been probably 10 years since I bumped into it and studied it. I just recall that the courts were way too deferential to the press on this, to the detriment of justice.
