He fired a lot of ammo(30 shots?) to little statistical effect. I don’t think it would have been a “massacre.” The guy had a not terribly acurate rifle and was not skilled in its use. He knew how to pull the trigger. He did seem to have a large cap mag in it so he got the accessories but he apparently did not practice. For a while we can count on that from the left but groups of them are getting themselves some training. they will bring guns to gunfights.

If no one was firing back he would have been able to approach his targets until he could hit them.
