The words sound a lot like a confession: “Mom, those documents, I screwed up.”
During Reality Leigh Winner’s bond hearing last week, Assistant U.S. attorney Jennifer Solari told the world that the 25-year-old federal contractor charged with leaking top-secret documents to the news media uttered those words to her mother during a recorded phone call from jail.
Before her arrest, Reality Winner, 25, worked for Alexandria, Va.-based Pluribus International Corp., a contractor for the NSA, assigned to Fort Gordon. She also served six years as an Air Force linguist.
But did Winner really fess up to her mother? Did her parents spend a week publicly defending her in one media interview after another, knowing she had confessed?
At this stage in the case, it’s impossible to verify.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution circled back with Winner’s mother in a phone interview Tuesday, and she disputed Solari’s characterization of the phone call. Billie Winner-Davis said the federal prosecutor took her daughter’s words out of context and that she still believes in her innocence.
“It’s too perfect of a package” she said. “I believe that my daughter is innocent, and I believe that she didn’t do this. I think somebody did their research on her, and they found the perfect person to set up.”

They genuinely believe that DJT is Hitler, and that anything — anything at all — is justified if it will remove him from power.
They see this is as their chance to repeat history, but get it right this time, with themselves as the hero.
The believe that even if they are arrested or killed in the attempt, their name will be remembered fondly, forever, by endless generations to come.

Yeah, her taking of the documents was taken out of context too. This is an offense that has nothing to do with intentions nor what somebody said. It’s absolute. And Hillary Clinton absolutely should be in prison with her new acolyte here.
What they never seem to realize is that the USA is not post-WWI Germany. If any Republican president ever did actually start acting like the criminally insane Hitler, Republicans would be the first to run him out of office.
Well Mom guess you will need to wait and see just what the jury took out of context when she is found guilty of espionage.
There is absolutely no reason to believe this girl is not being framed. We need big fish, not minnows.
Perhaps her family should consider how lucky they are, that she didn’t end up like Seth Rich, when discovered.
