Attorney General Jeff Sessions addressed the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday. Sessions told the committee that he any claims that he colluded with Russia in campaign is an “appalling and detestable lie.”
"Attorney General Sessions: Let me state this clearly, colleagues. I have never met with or had any conversation with any Russians or any foreign officials concerning any type of interference with any campaign or election in the United States. Furthermore, I have any known knowledge of any such conversations by anyone connected to the Trump campaign… The suggestion that I participated in any collusion, that I was aware of any collusion with the Russian government, to hurt this country that I have served with honor for 35 years or to undermine the integrity of our Democratic process is an appalling and detestable lie."

Looking at twitter, the general consensus is that Sessions did a great job.
On the other hand, Democrat Senator and aide killer Ted Kennedy was known to have had election contacts and efforts with the USSR.
nope, he did an AWESOME Job.
When our side complains, the MSM-Democrats will say "you didn't complain when your side did it."
As for Sen. Kamala Harris (D), she kept waving her arms and losing control. Sen. Harris lacks self control and lacks social graces, possibly her family failed to raise her right. Or she is just a crude person.
Actually, I think the Dems will lose interest pretty quickly in the collusion narrative.
They got what they wanted - a Special Counsel appointment.
Now, their job is to defend the Special Counsel from being fired by Rosenstein or Trump or from being deprived of his jurisdiction by, for example a conflict of interest.
The Special Counsel is charged with investigating whatever is necessary in order to determine whether there are "links" between Trump and Russia.
That means they can look at all of his businesses, all of his relationships, everything, to try to find a Russian link.
If the Dems can keep that Special Counsel in place long enough to get staffed up and funded (budget approved in July) and actually start investigating The Trump Organization and Trump, then it is really too late to fire the Special Counsel. If you wait that long to fire the Special Counsel you are handing them a case of obstruction of justice to take the House GOPe/Dems for impeachment and anyway make it the major issue in the 2018 election using the MSM.
If the Special Counsel manages to stay in the saddle long enough to do a thorough investigation of The Trump Organization, I put impeachment and removal at >50%.
Give me an appointment as Special Counsel and a big budget to hire top accountants, tax lawyers, environmental lawyers, antitrust lawyers, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act specialists, securities fraud lawyers, real estate lawyers, union lawyers, etc., with no limit on time or money, I am confident I could find evidence that I could present as some type of crime in likely multiple cases at pretty much any large international business.
The Special Counsel needs to be terminated this summer.
Rosenstein is Deep State and the only reason he got to appoint a Special Counsel was because Sessions recused himself.
President Trump needs to fire Mueller by Friday. It’s been admitted he colluded with Comey.
Can Sessions UNRECUSE himself & FIRE Rosenstein and Mueller?
lol
Some things just can’t be unseen.
Well, to be fair, thats not the only reason. If Trump didnt nominate Rosenstein, he couldnt have appointed a Special Counsel then either. Trump has a lot of posts to fill still, but not many people loyal to both him and the country to fill them. This puts the president in a tricky position as to whom he can trust. Rosenstein was a bad choice.
Im not at all disputing this, but who admitted Mueller colluded with Comey? I havent seen Mueller or Comey say thatalthough Comeys discussion of how he wanted a special counsel did sound suspicious.
