“Maybe you should prosecute actual criminals like Hillary Clinton.”
^^^^THIS^^^^
Lets put the criminals we know about behind bars. If you go after little guys and leave the big fish untouched, it just proves that the government is working against the people.
Sessions is absolutely worthless.
The most damaging substance to society is alcohol. Far and away. It damned near killed me. By the grace of God and AA it’s twenty seven years one day at a time that I have been relieved of the obsession to drink.
Next to creating “safe spaces” on universities, the best weapons our geopolitical enemies could possibly perpetrate on this country is to increase marijuana use.
As I mentioned earlier, marijuana is a huge influence on the increase in self-centered childishness and apathy.
I think it should be regulated like other meds and sold in drug stores.
“The vast majority of medical marijuana use is in truth recreational.”
Virtually all alcohol use is recreational, so you should focus on prohibiting that.
Divide and conquer by the Bezos Post. They know people’s opinions vary widely accross the political spectrum, and this is sure to ruffle some feathers, but at the end of the day Sessions’ job is to uphold the law.
And say goodbye to OH, PA, MI, and WI and hello to President Kamala Harris.
The “War on Drugs” has been very damaging on personal liberty. We once had alcohol prohibition but we realised making it illegal was worse. I think it’s the same for all drugs.
Agree - FAR more important items than this. They must not have any big crimes to go after, right?
Not to mention this is equal to Prohibition. Anyone who does that must want to hand back control of the government back to the dems.
Maybe it is.
So is the federal government.
The last thing we need is even more federal over reach into the States.
Congratulations on 27 years free from alcohol!
I agree that alcohol is far more dangerous than pot. Maybe not quite as bad as opiates but close.
Personally, I think that cannabis should be a states rights issue.
“Sessions understands the damaging effects of marijuana on society.”
I will state up front that I have never used Marijuana. That said, my wife, owing to severe back pain that is not managed by current drugs available, got a CA permit, tried it for relief, and it helped, but not enough to warrant the risks of smoking it. We have also attended seminars put on by medical professionals who are trying to get the ability to use the several compounds that are present in marijuana to further research it’s uses to alleviate severe pain.
So that while the “getting high contingent” does post a detriment to society, you should not conclude that the drug itself has no value to society.
So go after Hillary.
Let it go. The Feds have no business regulating drugs; the states should do it. But we have unfortunately had a century old tradition of federal drug regulation that has usurped states rights, and conservatives have been conditioned to believe that this an acceptable constitutional beach, all in the name of a so- called tough to on crime approach.
Whatever you view is on marijuana, a true constitutionalist would go for the state regulatory approach. If a state wants to put pot smokers in prison for 20 years, that their right. If they want to subsidize pot farms, fine.
Does he not have better things to do? Think what you think but I have many friends who have gone through cancer and pot was the only thing that helped them recover and get through chemo etc.
“Apathy, mood swings, rage episodes, no motivation, depression, decreased concentration, suppression of the brains natural cannabinoid analogs.”
I began using cannabis medicinally in February of 2015 to treat decades long depression & anxiety. Thanks be to God in Heaven it works for me! In that time I’ve lost 75 lbs due to increased energy & exercise. The quality of my work has greatly improved & my wife has the man she married back again.
Thankfully, I experience the exact opposite of what you assert.
Let the states vote to criminalize it, something we never got to do in the first place.
I know several people with severe chronic pain and medical marijuana is a godsend. If the Trump administration’s focus is on shutting these providers down, Trump will lose my support.
