I'm reading Comey's March 20 Testimony, and comparing his characterization of the January 6 briefing (sharing the dossier with Trump) then, with his last week telling the world about every single one-on-one meeting he had with Trump.

KING: Could you tell us who else was in the room with you that day?

COMEY: No, because I'm not going to confirm that there was such a conversation because then, I might accidentally confirm something that was in the newspaper.

KING: But could you tell us who was in the room, whether or not there was a conversation?

COMEY: No, I'm not confirming there was a conversation. In a classified setting, I might be able to share more with you, but I'm not going to confirm any conversations with either President Obama or President Trump or when President Trump was the President-elect.

Comey is a dissembling political hack.

According to Fox a few minutes ago Mueller already has four Democrats added to his team. He needs to be replaced.

One good thing...Comey and Lynch are done as directors in Washington.

Yes, Trump has the opportunity right now to order the replacement of Mueller for collusion with the disgruntled fired ex-employee Comey.

Senate Democrats pressed Rosenstein to recuse himself and appoint a special prosecutor for any Russia investigations, and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said Monday that Rosenstein agreed to appoint a special prosecutor if it was needed.
Apr 25, Rosenstein confirmed
May 09, Comey fired
May 17, Mueller appointed

I have thought all along something stinks about this whole thing. Rosenstein writes up a memo on why Comey should be fired. Trump agrees and fires Comey and within days Rosenstein appoints Mueller as special counsel. It just happened so fast and like it was a set up.

The question is "Set up by who?"

The issue of Rosenstein recusing was a prominent part of his confirmation hearings. Trump knew he had to get Comey out - he probably decided/knew that before he won the election. There is a very tight timeline from Rosenstein being appointed to Comey being fired, and days before the firing, Trump, Sessions and Rosenstein met.

Have you heard one peep of objection from Trump (I'm not talking about fake news) about the appointment of a SC?

I agree with you, and I think the set up goes back even further. Who advised Sessions to recuse himself, and who recommended Rosenstein for Deputy AG position?

FYI

It is obvious to me Comey’s leak was orchestrated to appoint a Special Counsel. Worse yet, the Mueller/Comey team is planning a Criminal Investigation that may already be underway. See and hear what McCabe said Wednesday to Senator Reed at the 2:53:50 - 2:54:10 mark:

http://www.redstate.com/sweetie15/2017/06/07/watch-live-senate-intel-hearings-wednesday-60717/

Paraphrasing for those not able to put in the time: Senator Reed: (to McCabe) You are not commenting on the conversations between you and Comey because the conversations between Trump and Comey are under Criminal Investigation or may be under Criminal Investigation, is that correct? McCabe answered yes.

Remember this hearing happened a day before Comey’s testimony.

It was evident at the outset that the fired FBI Director would be the pivotal witness in any potential obstruction of justice investigation by Mueller. Therefore, it was incomprehensible that Rod Rosenstein, the Acting Attorney General, would choose him. It was equally baffling that Mueller would accept the position.

This was orchestrated from get go. So, now what?

Sessions Un-Recuses himself.

Mueller removed as special council in opening statement. He's removed for 2 reasons, although the number 1 reasons stands on it's own accord.

1- The opening of the investigation was based on a FBI PAID FAKE story of Trump in a Russia hotel room - i.e.: no proof that Trump or his campaign ever worked with Russia to help him win the election. No tampering with voting machines, no Russian thugs outside of voting precincts and on and on.

2- Mueller has a conflict of interest and is Comey’s mentor. They come across as pro Democrat and anti Republican in every scenario

and finally

Comey & Mueller = The Deepest of Deep State EVER. Other than Henry Kissinger.

Bye Mueller, Bye. You have MAJOR conflict of interest. Recuse or get the bye Felicia treatment.

Ideal Scenario -

Sessions Un-Recuses himself.

Mueller removed as special council in opening statement.

It's that simple.

Another reason, the whole Russia investigation, errrr "matter", is a FAKE STORY that the F B I planted. Russia and Trump did not fix voting machines or hire thugs to keep people from voting in Michigan or Ohio.

Mueller needs to go tomorrow. Bye Felicia.

“Who did Mueller HIRE??”

According to Fix Mueller has brought in 4 Rats as part of his team. Yet we told Mueller is down the middle guy with impeccable character. He’s just a Rat hack and this was all a set up to bring him in to get Trump.

What the heck wad wrong with Rosenstein?

Could he not do a basic check?

Fire Mueller, Rosenstein, and the entire first & second echelons on DOJ & FBI.

These connections are far worse than ridiculous. It is a political hit operation..

Thanks...I never understood why the FBI was populated by lawyers, instead of the best of police.

I guess they are not necessarily police in the traditional sense.

Mueller should resign as special counsel. He has a flagrant conflict of interest that disqualifies him from serving.

Oh, oh Judge Nappy will get him. The Judge is certifiable nuts on Mueller not having a conflict. He loved Comey's testimony saying Trump was in big trouble.

I think with the complaint coming against Comey, team Trump is about to head Mueller off at the pass.

Probably one of the reasons Sessions insisted on an open interrogation.....
