SEATTLE (AP) Another federal appeals court has upheld a decision blocking President Donald Trumps revised travel ban.
The ruling Monday from a unanimous three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals deals the administration another legal defeat as the Supreme Court considers a separate case on the issue.
The judges say the president violated U.S. immigration law by discriminating against people based on their nationality and that Trump failed to show their entry into the country would hurt American interests.

No he didn't, and even if he did he has very very wide discretion regarding immigration.
These #fakejudges are wrong.
Folks, this is the end of America.
Borders are discriminatory. They are there to separate nations.
EVERY immigration law the United States have ever made considered nationality: it's the central issue.
There is no right to immigrate. Period.
If there were, what would be our right to stop say, 2 million members of the People's Liberation Army from simply "immigrating", and since the court believes that they also have Constitutional rights absent citizenship, they bring their guns with them as part of their 2nd amendment rights?
Invasion is a civil right?
This is the single most insand and dangerous court ruling in that last 160 years. It ABOLISHES the borders of the United States.
“To consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions [is] a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy.”
— Thomas Jefferson
Don’t count on it.
in my humble opinion, DJT should just implement his order (and hopefully strengthen it substantially!!) ...
the court orders are so patently unconstitutional, ultra-vires intrusions into the powers of the president and congress...
what the mass media has failed to report ... is that this is another Madison v. Marberry type case where the judiciary is trying to intrude and seize powers of the other constitutional branches of our government
(and the situation is a genuine emergency, too, what with thousands and thousands more enemy Islamic fighting men infiltrating America almost daily.....)
Optimism is good, right?
The real answer.
they’re at the firing range too
Simply amazing that some court judges think they are the ones that should be making national security decisions since they get no national security briefings. Tar and feathers will be in order if something happens due to their illegal interference with settled law.
How many Republican Senators do you think would vote to remove Trump from office tomorrow, if articles of impeachment were presented to the Senate?
If you think n >19, then your advice to Trump to defy the court is poor advice.
Trump should follow the advice of his role model Andrew Jackson: Justice Marshall made his ruling, now let him enforce it.
This was a 90-day ban while they reviewed procedures.
Why is this not a moot issue at this point?
Purely political and absolutely no surprise.
If Scotus rules against this obvious and necessary authority of any president, then I will pray that God radically change the underlying authority of that court.
If any of ny family is injured by a terrorist that entered the USA since the travel ban was held up I will personally hold those judges responsible and take care of business
The Senate should make it a policy to impeach every lower court judge who the SC overrules.
So, people from other nations are prevented entry because of NATIONALITY!?
What else would it be based on? Morons.
We need to purge law schools of Anti-American professors then Article V to realign the judiciary.
“Time for tar n feathers for those judges that strike down settled law”
It is a testimonial to the goodness of the right that those vile traitors remain alive and unmolested.
It is an indication of the stupidity and weakness of the GOPe that they are not removed from the bench and jailed.
i think maybe 3 R’s might vote against DJT
you can probably guess which the top 2 are
