Huge mistake - it only serves to keep the media agenda in the spotlight and serves the Admin no good. If it were my Admin I would refuse to cooperate until someone cited the law (chapter and verse) that was supposedly broken. Talking to the Russians as part of the incoming administration is NOT against any law I am familiar with, BUT testifying will lead you into a huge snake pit.
