I had been thinking of a river cruise across Europe but I have decided against it. I believe we will stick to the farm and the Ozarks where people know how to use toilets.
Need to make a Mohammed decal to put in the toilet bowl and give new meaning to p__s be upon him.

I wanted to do a river cruise also, but I cannot bring myself to go. I think my time to return to Europe has passed.
I will always have my memories of when it was Europe.
The idea of going to Paris, and seeing those filthy bastards on the Seine in a cardboard box would make me ill.
and i am going to spend my vacay $$ in the US, also.
It is hard to be tasteful with this stuff, but here is a fully-clothed version of a common Russian toilet as demonstrated by 2 soldiers. I just can't understand the reasoning behind it, but it works for them, so I'm fine with it. Just odd by our standards.

Every time I read about muslims doing their biz on the floor I think.....how stupid are these people? How hard is it to figure out how to use a toilet and toilet paper? It’s not exactly rocket science. jeez
A great road trip is The Great River Road.
It begins at Lake Itaska Minnesota and follows the Mississippi river to Venice Louisiana. The Great River road is a marked road (on both sides of the river) through the very heart of America. Most is on old US Hiways rather than interstates. The small towns and farming communities are the very essence of America.
The local culture shifts as you travel, from German food in Wisconsin to Cajun food in Lousiana.
I looked at some trips but it all just seems too complicated an the wife isnt very keen on it anyway. Guess we will just watch a travelogue and take a walk instead.
Ive traveled a lot all over the world on business but it is too much hassle to fly anymore, people irritate me and I dont feel comfortable with being crammed in a cigar tube with potentially insane people.
Paying good money for something I find unpleasant is a form of insanity and Im not insane. Yet.
So how many apartments a and houses that Muslims rent or that do not face Mecca?

I'm not sure if old Mo recognized that the Earth is round, but from where I sit on the west coast of the US, Mecca is 10 times zones different. Just about on the other side of the world. Straight down is aimed closer to Mecca than any direction on the surface of the Earth.
Every toilet in the Western US is "aimed" at Mecca.
Ive seen a lot of that from the decks of a towboat and barge in my youth.
A lot of Americanna has been lost or harder to find amid all the big box stores and chain food establishments though it can still be done.
