Yes you did. He labeled DACA an unconstitutional order and he would end it day one. 100%.
Don’t get me wrong. My problem is with all immigration, including DACA. We’re simply having our culture flooded-out by immigrants, to the point where we’re only now barely able to sustain a 2-party system, and if a bunch more ‘disadvantaged’ immigrants continue to show up, it’s over.
So, to me, it’s demographics. Us honkies are reproducing very slowly and the way to respond if we want to preserve our culture and language, is to bring in immigrants very slowly too. Unfortunately we opened the floodgates at that time (starting about the beginning of the century - although it dates back to 1965), so now it’s time to compensate by catching our breath - and Trump came the closest, but I doubt he’s ever considered it from a demographic standpoint - so he’s leaving himself open to the ‘human interest’ plays.
But my only question was whether Trump’s breaking his promise...you think so, I remember otherwise (non-committal)...but maybe it is both - at the beginning, and perhaps in his position paper he was ready to reverse DACA (or at least freeze it)...but then our friends that made Paris so exciting (the kids) are tugging on him here too.
