I wonder how close Romney came to being tapped for that post? I know that Kelly Ann Conway was swamped with messages from folks like us on every social media outlet she had an account and apparently fought against Romney with all her might. That SHOULD have earned her with some major cred with Trump. If not then, then certainly now with Romney’s confession of being a Hillary agent.
I think it was “catnip” Trump was feeding the RINO Establishment contingency to entertain visuals of himself with Romney, as if he were seriously considering this beta boy for anything.
It was a courtesy call, an olive branch to the nasty Paul Ryan/Mitch McConnell gaggle of players, throwing these cut throats a bone.
Trump like the rest of America discovered Romney was about as deep as a piece of paper and had to be shaped daily by wifey Annie, to even function. They were never remotely in tune with Republicans or conservatives. They were socially depraved, loved gays and birth control, live and let die, and wanted these anathemas to the Christian faith imposed on the Catholic Church, in MA, in a cram down their throat and jackboot style.
