McDonald’s has become another place I shan’t be returning to...
Chick-fil-A has not yet compromised, so far as I can determine. Any others out there that are keeping relative purity of not mixing politics with serving food?
CFA is far from it yet.
In-N-Out Burger is pretty neutral on their politics and their food is exceptional given that it’s fast food.
I drank Coke for about the last 20 years (Pepsi before that) and was drinking a lot of it. I was buying the 12 packs when you can get them for about $2 each on sale, and would stockpile them 8-12 at a time.
About two months ago, I saw a Coke commercial (someone on FR sent me the link because I don’t watch television) and it was a homosexual teenage brother and his sister drooling over a pool boy, fighting each other to see who was going to be able to bring him a Coke first...losing out to the mother who got there first.
That commercial offended me on so many counts, that I gave up drinking Coke right there.
It has been difficult to find alternatives since Coke has tentacles in the beverage industry that go everywhere, but I think I am okay now, drinks of choice are 7-Up, Ginger Ale, and Polar beverages. The one thing I miss is not being able to stop nearly anywhere and just get a diet beverage...Coke One was pretty much the only choice.
I too prefer Chik-fil-A.
