If he was stronger???? Seriously he was the head of the FBI. Anybody think that was the reason is an absolute fool. It either did not happen or it was a pre-planned trap....which means conspiracy set up. Trump was smart enough not to fall into that trap.
Okay, after re-reading the US Constitution twice I must have missed the FBI is the fourth branch of government twice. Did a Constitutional Amendment get passed that I didn’t hear about?

But he went crying to AG Sessions, asking him to make the "bad man" stop meeting one on one with him, and calling him. Comey had some weird idea that he was the one who set official protocol as to when and where the President could meet with him, or call him. Comey is a serial opportunist who twists and turns the facts to suit his purpose. He uses his friends, even makes them accessories to crimes. I have a hard time believing that this was the first time Comey ever leaked confidential/classified information to the press. He didn't just become a leaker once he was fired.

Trump fired Comey, I believe, while Comey was in California. Trump has Comey’s files, computers, notes and whatever else Comey left at his DC office.
This has caused Comey to go into a complete panic, and start blabbering like a fool.
I’m guessing that the Trump team has criminal evidence against Comey, Hillary, Obuma, Lynch, Schumer, Pelosi and other big mucky-mucks in the rat party.
I agree. First I like the way Trump did the firing. Then, they quickly seized his computer and who knows what else. They didn’t give him a chance to delete and destroy. They knew who they were dealing with. And God only knows what incriminating things he has on that computer. He outed himself as a leaker during the hearings. As others suspect, he probably did so because he knows that Sessions and Trump know what is in those memos, among other things.
