If the science is settled, why are they still spending billions on climate change research?

If the science is settled, all climate change research grants should be zeroed out.

What, to me at least, is sad is the fact there almost certainly is good to be gained from studying "Climate Change". Certainly, it would be helpful to know what's going to happen 50 or 100 years from now, at least generally. If nothing else, analysis of weather patterns would beneficial.

But, it will never come to pass. AlGore managed to politicize it, and government funding has utterly corrupted the entire process.

Not that it matters, but I think that 100 years from now, things will be more or less the same, climate-wise. Hurricanes will come, and hurricanes will go. There will be droughts and monsoons and tornadoes. Hot in the summer and cold in the winter. And my great-great grandchildren will look back on the "Climate Hysteria" and wonder what all the fuss was about.

I hope it's starting to play out. The gloom and doomers need to move on to something else to be hysterical about - IMO, it will be something regarding "Clean Water" or "Fresh Water", I'm starting see odds and ends of stories on the news about it.
