Interesting. I would have thought Turley would defend this particular leak on legal technicalities. Not classified being the excuse Comey teed-up for the deep state press.

Comey opened a new can of worms on himself !

There are also ethical and departmental rules against the use of material to damage a former represented person or individual or firm related to prior representation. So much for the Boy Scout meme, he's an unethical law breaker, a criminal, not a lawman.

So you have what you think is a private conversation with the President and it shows up in the news.
Of course privacy is expected or it would have been a meeting.
Comey is paranoid, a liar and a leaker.....and a nut....who thinks whatever he does is right....and whatever someone else does....well...he'll decide right and wrong on anyone. Depends how he feels.
To: SpeedyInTexas
If he didn’t think he was breaking the law, then why did he have someone else leak the memo?

Comey’s notes are “work product”, taken in the course of his official duties.
They are gov’t property, and not his to leak.
I believe this is illegal, but, unlikely to be prosecuted.

So much for the tough FBI image. I would never believe that the FBI could be run by such a whining pussy.

Comey, over and over, said he does selectively obey the Law,
ignoring it for tarmac meetings, and for words designed by the DNC,
and for murders and other crimes that he can just decide to ignore.
Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Comey purposefully leaked a memo to trigger a Special Counsel who ended up being his BFF Robert Mueller. The Session's led DOJ is really our best friend. Funny despite all the REAL scandals under Obama (people actually died) there was never a Special Counsel appointed to any of those scandals. SHAMEFUL!

Comey couldn’t recommend Hillary for indictment because he’s a criminal. He would have turned all the powers at Hillary’s disposal against him and that would include the MSM.

A rigid, defensive man. Comey is a human rhetorical machine, very articulate, able to absolve himself of any errors and to promote himself to sainthood. While under fire.
