If anything; all this shows is that seeking justice through the courts is a foolhardy quest. Imagine the reaction and national media coverage if 3 American thugs had simply looked at a muslim migrant girl cross-eyed. There would be wall to wall coverage and outrage.

If this were my daughter, niece, family member, I don't think I would have any problem seeking justice in a more 'informal' way and taking my chances with a sympathetic, local jury.

I hope the little girl and her family find peace and comfort.
