The people of Idaho have seen fit to keep this person on the bench through a series of quadrennial retention elections, the most recent being 2016 in which he got 88% of the votes. If he had not succeeded in getting a majority in any of those elections, he would have lost his job.
Let us hope the people of Idaho reconsider their support in 2020.
