Comey’s testimony is going to be neutral. Republicans will say it doesn’t prove anything, Democrats will say there is more smoke than ever and McCain will be the voice that demands further investigation.
This way Comey is off the hook and the investigation can continue.

I seem to recall some time ago, Comey saying that he made notes of all his conversations.
FR and Rush and Levin (and others) made a big deal about it. Looks like Comey is countering that.
